Potters Pork Products Limited is a proud family-run business with roots dating back to 1973. What began in the back of a small butcher’s shop in Walsall has grown into a trusted name in sausage manufacturing across the West Midlands.
In the early days, we focused on crafting high-quality sausages whilst building a loyal customer base through local deliveries of meat cuts and products. As demand increased, the business moved to a former bakery on the Birchills, allowing us to fully concentrate on refining and expanding our sausage production.
With continued growth and investment, Potters Pork Products relocated to a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in Walsall in 1992.
This marked a significant milestone in our journey, becoming the first sausage factory in the West Midlands to achieve an EEC licence — a testament to our commitment to quality, standards, and consistency.
The factory was opened on 5th October 1992, by the Right Honourable Nicholas Soames, former Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Food (1992 to 1994) and the grandson of Sir Winston Churchill.
Today, we continue to build on that heritage, combining traditional methods with modern production and a strong emphasis on food hygiene and food safety, to deliver products that our customers can rely on.
From humble beginnings to a leading regional supplier, our focus remains the same: delivering consistent, high-quality pork sausages to our customers.
